What phone viewing needs

Cameras or a recorder that support remote access, a stable internet connection at the site and the manufacturer’s app (for example, Hik-Connect for Hikvision). Internet speed affects video quality in the app.

What you can do in the app

Watch live video, open the archive and save clips, and get motion notifications if configured. Access can be shared with family members or staff.

We set strong passwords, update firmware if needed and give access only to the people you allow.

Can old cameras be connected to a phone?

Often yes, if the recorder supports remote access. If not, replacing just the recorder may be enough. We will advise after checking the model.

Do I need a static IP address?

Usually not: most modern systems work through the manufacturer’s cloud service.
